The Story of Moonlight and Mary-Lou

Once upon a time there was a young girl called Mary-Lou, but most people called her Mary. Now, Mary was a scared little girl. She was scared of everything, but she loved animals and heaps of people said she was an animal whisperer.

One day, Mary went out exploring in the grassy meadow when she saw a beautiful horse grazing. She did not know where it had came from, nor whether it was wild or it had just ran away from it's home. She did not know what to do so she ran straight back home to tell her Mum and Dad.

The next day Mary went back to the meadow to see if the horse was still there, and it was! So quietly, Mary crept up to the horse and tried to lasso it. But then it reared up and Mary lost her grip and the horse broke free and bolted!

Gone Out Fishing

When we went fishing, we saw the cutest little blue penguin. It looked like it was a baby as it was drifting in through the harbour:


Oh My Gosh! Logan's caught a fish.....oh no, it's only a piece of seaweed, lol!

Here's the two chooks, the dog and the four of us.

This is the cute little lamb, Oscar, and me.

One day we were driving up the road to our house when we saw two lambs, so Mum told me to get out and lead them on to the side of the road. I got out of the car and I went round the other side of the car and it looked like the big one was going to charge at me so I ran and dived back into the car and they followed me. Aidan put Oscar in and I put in Rosemary and then we took them home and we made a cage for them under the trampoline and we borrowed some lamb's milk powder and bottles and teats off Gill.

Here's a photo of my cute little cousin Angus - don't you just love him? One day we got to look after him all by ourselves for a whole morning, that was so much fun.

At the 10 aside tornament I got player of the day. It was really cool. The 10-aside tournament is a barefoot rugby tournament that the Welcome Bay Rugby Club hosts every year on Fathers' Day, so most people refer to it as the Fathers' Day Tournament. Teams from all over the Bay of Plenty and Waikato come to compete and it's a fun, but really tiring, day.
